Tech: 3 types of acoustic guitars, various found percussion, $40 dollar Sony voice recorder, EV RE20 mic, acoustic DeanMarkley pick up, and audacity and cubase.
Recorded over the entire year of 2008 in various bedrooms and field recordings on walks in parks.

The concept of recording the album was to create layers using both a clean line and a voice recorder to provide a sharp sound along with texture. The music was various jams played overtime or some made up on the spot. Much of the color/feeling was attributed to older rock influences while blending new electronic sounds that were influencing me at the time while focusing on depth and being able to keep an open "field" of vision/internal sounds passing through. Some of the tracks, when creating them, held a very picturesque landscape in mind or as they developed the landscape also developed. I found myself developing very solitude characters in these landscapes who imbued feelings shared through the real world. It is an album meant for a long walk through natural or urban places and observing the light of day or night and sympathizing with the world around you.
